Richard W. Patane, 62

FULTON, NY – Richard W. Patane, 62, of Fulton, passed away Friday January 1, 2016, at University Hospital in Syracuse.

Dick was a lifelong resident of Fulton and was the owner and broker of Patane Insurance in Hannibal.

He was an avid bowler and had been inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame.

He was predeceased by his parents, Sam and Rita Salvage Patane.

Dick is survived by his brother, Sam (Val) Patane of Hannibal; his nephews, Dave Patane and Mike (Carrie) Patane; great-nephew, Teigen; great-niece, Kyriel; many cousins.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at the funeral home, 910 Fay St.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Dick may be made to American Diabetes Association, 6390 Fly Road, E. Syracuse, NY 13057.

  1. It’s with great sadness that I note Dick’s passing. Dick was truly one of the nicest people I was able to call friend. He was a kind and generous person who was unselfish, honest, and fair in all his business dealings. The world is a darker place without Dick in it.
