State Senator Patty Ritchie visited Red Schoolhouse Maple in the town of Palermo recently, celebrating “Maple Weekend.”

“Maple Weekend” runs through this weekend and takes place at farms across New York State.
“Maple Weekend” events include lessons on the art of maple sugaring, community breakfasts and opportunities to purchase fresh-made maple products directly from the source.
