Robert J. Keeler, 64

OSWEGO, NY – Robert J. Keeler, 64, a resident of Scriba, passed away at his home on Tuesday May 10, 2016.

Robert was born in Oswego, the son of the late Jack and Louise (Zerrahn) Keeler.

He had been employed by Enesco, AAA, Niagara Mohawk Power Corp., and Stone & Webster Engineering Co.

Robert was an accomplished artist, working with pottery and stained glass.

He was also a talented gardener.

He is survived by a sister, Donna (Robert) Winchek of Oswego; a brother, Gerald (Linda) Keeler of Oswego; his closest friend, Roland Kozlowski of Poland; five nieces, Krystal (Mark) Breeden of Orchard Park, Mickie (James) Thomson of Phoenix, Ariz., Maureen (Jermey) Wallace of Oswego, Katrina (Steve) Cook of Oswego and Sara (Randy) Graves of Central Square; eight great-nieces and great-nephews, Alicia, Alex, Madison, Alyssa, Kaitlin, Connor, Tyler and Taylor; an uncle, Carl “Mike” Zerrahn of Plattsburgh, NY; and two aunts, Mary Lou Zerrahn of Canastota and Jane Zerrahn of Oswego.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday June 25, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.

Memorial contributions can be made to Grace Lutheran Church in Oswego.

  1. I went to college with Bob. He was a great guy. I used to meet him at Harborfest, but have not seen him in a number of years. He always made me smile. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
