FULTON, NY – Only a few openings remain for bowling teams to participate in Oswego County Opportunities’ Rodeo Bowl to be held April 18, at Lakeview Lanes from noon to 6 p.m.
Featuring a western theme, OCO’s Rodeo Bowl promises rip-roaring fun for all ages.
Teams of five can still register for the second flight of bowling that afternoon, from 3 to 5:30 p.m.
In addition to bowling attendees can participate in a variety of western themed activities such as manic milking contest featuring Cornell Cooperative Extension’s “Clover the Cow,” “horse racing,” cow chip surprise, bid on a wide array of merchandise and services during the silent auction, take a western themed photo in the selfie corral, and much more.
OCO’s Rodeo Bowl serves as a fundraiser for OCO.
According to Executive Director Diane Cooper-Currier, proceeds from the Rodeo Bowl will assist people in crisis.
“We’re focusing on the ‘crisis in our backyard’ this year, because everyone who comes to OCO for services is experiencing some type of crisis, whether it’s lack of money to pay the rent, loss of a job, no transportation, inability to buy food for their family, experiencing abuse or neglect … the list goes on,” said Cooper-Currier.
“Thanks to the donations and sponsorships we’ve received from caring businesses such as G & C Foods, NRG Oswego Harbor Power, L.C.C., Fidelis Care New York, and OneGroup this year’s Rodeo Bowl promises to have more fun and more surprises than ever before!” added Cooper-Currier.
A very limited number of team slots remain.
