Rollin C. Kimball, 88, of Fulton, died Thursday at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton.
Born in Binghamton he was a 63 year resident of the Fulton area. Rollin retired from Nestle Co. in 1982 as a Cost Accountant after many years. Rollin was an Army veteran serving during WWII as part of DarbyÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Rangers serving in Italy, Sicily and Africa. Rollin received a purple heart for injuries he sustained during action in Sicily. He was a member of the First United Church of Fulton.
Rollin was predeceased by his sister, Joyce Battaglia.
Surviving: his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth Kimball of Fulton; a son, Gary Kimball of Warners; a sister Helen Quimby of Utica; a sister-in-law, Pauline Rowlee of Fulton; several nieces and nephews.
Services are private. Burial will be at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to First United Church of Fulton, 33 South Third Street, Fulton, 13069 or A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, 510 South Fourth Street, Fulton, 13069.
