Rose M. Diak, 83, of Fulton, died Friday at Michaud Residential Health Services in Fulton.
Born in Fulton, she was a life resident. Rose was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Fulton. She was a waitress at MeagherÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Diner for several years. Rose was predeceased by her parents, Harvey Hammond and Mary Ormsby as well as brothers, Harvey Hammond, Jr. and Paul Hammond.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Diak of Fulton; two sons, Douglas and Dennis (Patty) Diak both of Fulton; two sisters, Beverly Benedict and Lillian Woodward both of Fulton; three brothers, William Hammond of Phoenix, Maurice Hammond of Fulton and Gerald Hammond of Granby; a granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton. Burial will be in Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.
