Rose Marie Bushnell, 80

FULTON, NY – Rose Marie Bushnell, a lifelong resident of Fulton, died on Friday, December 9, 2016, at the age of 80.

She was a loving mother, homemaker and child care provider for many years.

Rose retired from Lanigan Elementary School after 17 years as a teacher’s aide.

She was a volunteer at Lee Memorial Hospital and sang in the choir at the Immaculate Conception Church for many years.

Rose was an avid Bingo player.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Beauchamp of Fulton; one sister, Jacqueline (Alan) Mitchell of Liverpool; as well several nieces and nephews.

Rose has donated her body to the Anatomical Gift Program at Upstate Medical School.

At her request, there will be no services.

For those wishing, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her memory.

  1. I worked with Rose at Lanigan for years. She was a delightful person- she had a great love of children and was always positive and hard-working. She surely made a difference in many lives including mine. She will sorely missed by all those who knew her and loved her. The family has my deepest condolences and heartful prayers.
