Rotarack Club Visits Oswego Sunrise Rotary


OSWEGO, NY – On Oct. 1, members of the Rotarack Club, from SUNY Oswego visited the Oswego Sunrise Rotary.

The Oswego Sunrise Rotary and Oswego Rotary Club sponsored the Rotarack club four years ago.

Rotarack is a Rotary-sponsored youth service club designed to promote responsible citizenship and leadership potential of men and women aged 18 to 30.

Currently, the club has 15 members.

At a recent Student Involvement Fair, 15 new members joined the club.

They plan to promote the Breast Cancer Walk on the Oswego campus on Oct. 29.

The club joined the Sunrise Rotary in its make a difference day project on Saturday.

Many of the members of Rotarack are members of the women’s hockey team at SUNY Oswego.

Rotarians and varsity hockey coach Diane Dillon and Tim Nekritz serve as the Rotarack Club’s advisors.
