FULTON, NY – At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Dan Farfaglia presented some history and a DVD on the life of Sir Nicholas Winton.
Sir Nicholas was a British man who saved many Czech and Slovak children from the Holocaust.
He was recently honored in the United States at the age of 104 by being the first inductee to the Rotarian Peace Hall of Fame.
Sir Nicholas is a member and former president of the Maidenhead Rotary Club, UK.
The Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Fulton’s Riverside Inn.
