The company was founded in 1883 by Forrest Weeks as the Oswego Falls Pulp and Paper Company.

The name was later changed to the Sealright Company.

It is now owned by a private global company, Huhtamaki, a world leader in round ice cream containers.

After he completed college, Bob worked in quality control of the new SealKing milk and juice containers.

Merrill and Bob are holding some of the SealKing paper products lent to them by Huhtamaki.

The SealKing Division of the Sealright Company developed and manufactured the first plastic coated cardboard beverage container.

Merrill was also employed as an engineer at the Sealright Company.
