George Booth and B. J. Adigun

At a recent Fulton Rotary Club meeting, Rotarian George Booth, on the left, introduced B. J. Adigun, Director of Community Development, for the Golisano Children’s Hospital.

B. J. showed a slide presentation bringing us up to date on the progress of the new wing on University Hospital.

The addition is targeted to be opened in 2009. The addition to Upstate Medical Center will have 71 dedicated beds for children. The state of the art building will have only single rooms, with a nurses station between each room. There is a dedicated private entrance for the children’s wing. It will also have an additional 3 adult floors for heart, oncology, and other adult illnesses.
