Rotarians Hear About Courage, Welcome New Member

Wallace Auser III, on the left, a member of the Fulton Rotary Club, thanks Dr. Lawrence Thomas, a Syracuse University Professor, at a recent Fulton Rotary Club meeting. Professor Thomas is a teacher of Moral Philosophy at Syracuse University. His topic was on “Courage in the Face of Adversity.” It is Professor Thomas’s theory that evil will overcome us if we do not have the courage to stand up to what is right and what is wrong in the world.

Ray Czachor, First Vice President of the Fulton Rotary Club, greets Jim Patterson, on the left. Jim is the Fulton Noon Rotary Club’s newest member. Jim is retired from Niagara Mohawk Power Company and works summers at Battle Island State Park.

The Fulton Rotary Club meets each Thursday at the Tavern on the Lock Restaurant in downtown Fulton.
