At a recent Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Sharon Foster introduced Paul Vandish, Manager of Quality and Risk Management for Oswego Health. Paul's program dealt with Emergency Management as it affects Oswego Health and all residents in our area. Oswego Health cooperates with all of the other agencies and organizations in the county dealing with emergencies. Oswego Health is prepared for any emergency that may occur. Paul said that the major emergencies that he has to stay focused on are, ice and snow storms, a failure at the nuclear plants, major power outages, disease outbreaks, chemical spills, etc. The hospital has a 100% emergency power backup in all of its buildings.
