The Webbers are a retired couple  who volunteer with the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team.

Both find much joy in their work with the Red Cross.

Their involvement has been primarily with home fires.

They provide “peace of mind” to people who are devastated by the loss of their home.

Part of their responsibilities include getting the people away from the scene,  discussing what happened and assessing their needs, both mentally and financially, but most of all providing them hope.

They are a resource for families that are unsure where to turn.

The American Red Cross must be invited to attend a disaster scene either by the first responders or the families needing help.

Dave and Lee are the only DAT members in Oswego County.

They both spoke highly of the local first responders.

Dave and Lee are both involved with the Fulton Little League and you can find them at many of the baseball games, either at the snack bar or on the field coaching.
