FULTON, NY – Each month, the Fulton Noon Rotary Club invites two Fulton High School students to join them at lunch.
The students receive a certificate of recognition for their hard work in school and community service during their four years in high school.
The two students that visited during December were Tevin Sinard and Paige Havener.
Youth Services chairperson Judy Young presented the students with their certificates.
Tevin has excelled in French, Spanish and World History.
He is active in sports programs and is a member of the National Honor Society. Tevin has volunteered more than 900 hours in the community, mainly at the Fulton Public Library and Michaud Nursing Home.
Last summer, he was chosen to attend Princeton University under the Leadership for a Diverse America Program.
After graduation, Tevin hopes to attend Princeton and then law school and work in the field of Public Policy in the Federal Government.
Paige has also excelled in her academic subjects and is a member of the National Honor Society.
She has served in leadership roles in her many and various activities and clubs. Paige loves art, music and drama.
She has played the violin in the school orchestra for many years.
Paige also has been in several stage presentations during her high school years. For community service, Paige has served her church and the local food pantries.
She plans on attending college after graduation. She is not set on a major, but Wells College is one of the colleges she has applied to.
