FULTON, NY – Fulton Rotarian Nancy Kush Ellis introduced Nancy Fox from the CNY Arts Center at a recent Rotary meeting.
Fox was very enthusiastic in reporting that CNY Arts is now three years old and continues to grow.
She invited everyone to visit the gallery on South First Street in Fulton, where many beautiful works of art by local artist are for sale.
The CNY Arts Center is located at State Street Methodist Church.
Classes are given and theater events are held in the church hall.
Nancy reported they are exploring the possibility of housing both sites under one roof.
The owner of the closed Rite Aid store, on Route 481, has offered to donate this building to the CNY Arts Center.
This new venture will provide CNY with its first multi arts center with a studio, theater, writing arts and culinary arts space.
They are looking for partners to support them in this venture.
The next big event for the CNY Arts Center will be held on January 18 when they will occupy City Hall for their third annual Snow Day in the park across the street.
