Because ARC of Oswego County is a regional chapter of a state organization, NYSARC, Inc., the number of members in the chapter determines the number of delegates the chapter is allowed when voting on issues of importance to the disabled community. The 20 additional memberships will give Oswego County a greater voice in deciding public policy, related to people with disabilities, on the state and national levels; and the $100 in membership fees will help support ARC of Oswego County’s many programs for infants, children, adults, and senior citizens with disabilities.
