Rotary District Governor Visits Fulton

FULTON, NY – Deb Glisson, District Governor of Rotary District 7150, covering the six counties in Central New York, made her annual visit to the Fulton Noon Rotary Club recently.

District Governor Glisson was greeted by club president Lori Greeney.

The large Rotary District has a total of 43 Rotary clubs at the present time.

Currently, the District Governor is a secondary administrator in the Marcellus school district.

She has been very involved with the education side of Rotary.

She has traveled to Chile to assist students in learning English so that they can obtain jobs in the tourist industry.

She also heads up the Rotary Education Program for the district.

Glisson wants to bring back the focus on vocation studies for our high school students in her year as DG.

The Fulton Rotarians alway enjoy meeting the new District Governor each year.

District Governor Glisson was introduced by Assistant Governor Marve Joslyn, a member of the Baldwinsville Rotary Club.
