PULASKI, NY – The New York State Department of Transportation is alerting motorists in Oswego County that a portion of Route 11 in the village of Pulaski will be closed in early to mid September and again in late October/early November for unexpected repairs to two drainage structures.
Beginning at 7 a.m. on September 4, Route 11 will be closed to through traffic between Route 13 (on the south) and Lewis Street (on the north).
The closure will be around-the-clock and is expected to last up to eight days.
A posted detour for through-traffic using Route 13 and South Jefferson Street will be provided.
Local traffic will also be allowed to bypass around the closure using Glen Avenue and Lewis Street.
Access to all businesses on Route 11 will be maintained during the road closure.
The work taking place in September will replace a 14-foot culvert located just north of Glen Avenue.
The work later this year will replace a smaller drainage pipe a bit further north.
Both sites require the old structures to be removed, requiring full closure of Route 11.
