Rudy’s B Mites Split Pair of Games in Recent Action

OSWEGO, New York – The Rudy’s Mite B Team split a pair of games in recent action against Clayton and Rome.

The Rudy’s squad traveled to Clayton and faced a tough team losing 7-0. The entire team played hard against the host team, with goalie Tyler Wallace recording 25 saves in the loss.

The following day at the Cullinan Ice Rink in Oswego, the Rudy’s Team won 4-3 over visiting Rome, on a late, third period goal by Mark Jones.

Jones added two other goals in the win, and Nick Burnett one. Andrew Noyes and Anthony Diblasi each added an assist. Tyler Wallace captured the win in net with 6 saves on the day.

Coach Fierro said strong, aggressive play on the offensive end by Cammi Ahern, Spencer Stepien, Julia Roman, Cole Cullinan, Lucas Shepardson and Katie Fierro also aided in the win.

Others providing huge support on defense in the victory over Rome were Jones, Bryson Bush, Evan Giocondo, and Isaiah Raby.
