SAF educator accepts pillowcases from APW class

Students in Sybil Ruffels’ Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Junior/Senior High School Family and Consumer Science classes made pillowcases and donated them as a community service project to the Oswego County Opportunities’ Services to Aid Families program and the Ronald McDonald House of CNY.

Meredith Needham and Katelynn Chwalek, both SAF representatives, were on hand to accept the donation and they spoke to the students in the FCS classes about the programs and services available through OCO and SAF, in particular the SAF house which will benefit from the donation.

“I’m very thankful to you all, and that you thought of us when you did your pillowcase project,” said Needham in accepting the colorful pillowcases.
