Sally A. D’Amico, 76, a resident of Oswego, passed away October 23, 2011 at the Oswego Hospital.
Born in Oswego, NY, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Agnes (Gallagher) DeAmbra.
Sally was a homemaker. She previously worked at Fitzpatrick Power Plant and D’Amico’s Distributors.
Surviving are three daughters, Elizabeth (Dom) DeSalvo of Pittsburgh; Laurie (Don) Wahrendorf and Gina (Nick) Spilman, both of Oswego; four sons, James D’Amico of Dewitt; David D’Amico, Alfred D’Amico Jr. and Christopher (Mary) D’Amico, all of Oswego; a son-in-law, Jeff Poor; a brother, Patrick “Trigger” (Dee) DeAmbra of Oswego; sixteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred D’Amico Sr., a daughter, Ann Poor and a sister, Linda DeAmbra.
Calling hours will be held 4-7p.m. Wednesday, at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego. With a prayer service to follow.
Burial will be held in Oswego Town Rural Cemetery at a later date.
