PULASKI – The Pulaski Historical Society will host a Salmon River Festival Yard Sale at the museum on October 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Items being offered for sale will include an antique table, chairs, saws, costume jewelry, books and more.
All proceeds go to support the work of the Historical Society.
The museum will be open for tours that day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In the Carriage House there will be a special fishing-themed exhibit, featuring a “Commercial Fishing on Lake Ontario” display by John W. Allport that has not been previously shown.
There will also be articles and pictures relating to the Salmon River and the fishing business.
Other exhibits include “Window on Main Street,” the Ontario Iron Works, and products made by the Tollner Box Company.
The Pulaski Historical Society is located at 3428 Maple Ave., in the village, across from Cole/Muffler Brake.
In October, the museum is open on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 11).
There are also regular work sessions on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
