Salvation Army Halloween Spooktacular Open To The Community

OSWEGO, NY – BOO! The Salvation Army is having its third annual Halloween Spooktacular. This year, it will be organized and constructed with the help of the Salvation Army Youth Program.

It will be held on Oct. 27 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Oswego Salvation Army, 73 W.  Second St.

The youth program is held every Tuesday and Thursday from 3-5:30 p.m.

Youth from the Oswego area come to hang out with their friends, play games, make arts and crafts, participate in activities and eat a snack.  It is free and open to all youth all year round.

The youth program is staffed with an AmeriCorps member who organizes, coordinates and runs the activities.

It also incorporates the work of many volunteers.

At the Halloween Spooktacular there will be frightful fun for all!

Come enjoy the ghoulish games and win candy. Beware of the scary snacks, they’ll get you every time.

Come dressed up for the creepy costume contest and bring your creative menace for the terrifying pumpkin decorating contest. Warning: If you hear bloodcurdling screams, its coming from the haunted house!

The event is open to the community and is free.

It is for all ages and family friendly.
