OSWEGO, NY – The Salvation Army Oswego County Corps, 73 W. Second St., will host a
brigade of cadets (students) from The Salvation Army School for Officer Training (seminary).
The cadets are young men and women who are in school learning and training to become
Salvation Army officers (pastors).
Part of their training is to go out to various communities throughout the Northeast and put into practice what they have learned.
Brigade #4 will be in Oswego County March 18-24.
Once they arrive, they will be doing visitation at local nursing homes, a presentation at the Fulton Rotary, helping in the soup kitchen as well as the nightly evangelistic meetings.
Meetings will be conducted Monday through Wednesday and Friday.
On March 21, the group will hold two special meetings: one for the men and one for Sally Gals, the women’s ministry group.
On March 22, there will be a special emphasis for young adults.
March 23 from 2 – 4 p.m. will be a fun day for families.
The cadets will hold a family fun day with games and crafts followed by a pizza party.
The meeting for the evening will be focused on the family and will start at 6.
The group will end its week on Palm Sunday.
Sunday School will be held at 10 a.m. followed by a special morning worship service at 11 a.m.
There will be a pot-luck meal followed by the final celebration praise meeting at 1:30 p.m.
