Sandy Creek Elementary School students celebrate Read Across America Day

The National Education Association’s Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on or around March 2, which is popular children’s author, Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

Students and staff at Sandy Creek Elementary School celebrated the event by dressing like their favorite Dr. Seuss character.

Guest readers helped classes celebrate by reading their favorite Dr. Seuss book at the end of the day.
