The concert was opened with songs by the fifth grade band.

Following the first concert by the fifth graders, other more seasoned bands performed including the Middle School Concert Band, the Sixth Grade Band and the High School Concert Band.

The mix of traditional and festive music provided a wonderful transition into the holiday season.

The bands are under the direction of Valerie Marshall and Tom Artini.

Donning elf ears and hats, the sixth grade band played a delightful number called “Christmas Elves in Santa’s Workshop” by Mike Hannickel. After calling to Santa for number of needed items, the overworked elves eventually cried out in frustration, “Hey Santa, we need a break!”
