Sandy Creek Varsity Cheer Named Frontier League Champs

SANDY CREEK – In an undefeated season, that included a first place finish in every single competition they participated in, the Sandy Creek Varsity Cheer team earned the Frontier League Championship Tuesday, Oct. 23.

The squad is coached by Tanya VanOrnum with assistant coach Jodi Whitney.

Team members, pictured in front left to right are: Vanessa Fox, Hannah Dasno, Emily Paternoster, Rosie Walter, Lainie Hathway and Madeleine Palmer.

In back, left to right are: Madison Bauer, Madison Benedict, and Olivia Pappa.

In addition to earning the title, Hannah Dasno, Rosie Walter and Vanessa Fox were selected as Frontier League All Stars.

This title is the 20th Frontier League Championship earned by the cheer teams under the direction of Coach VanOrnum.
