Save Energy, Save Dollars Workshops Coming Up

Cornell Cooperative Extension in Oswego County is offering HeatSmart NY workshops that are sponsored by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). Save Energy, Save Dollars workshops will teach low-cost and no-cost ways to save energy and reduce energy bills. Just in time for the cold months ahead. Participants receive a kit of energy saving items worth $15. Save Energy, Save Dollars workshops are free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required to ensure there is enough energy saving kits for everyone. Please call (315) 963-7286 ext 401 to register for one of the workshops. Save Energy, Save Dollars will be offered on the following dates:

· Monday, January 10, 2011 from 12:30 to 2:30 pm at the Phoenix Public Library, 34 Elm Street, Phoenix.

· Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm at Catholic Charities, 365 West 1st Street, Fulton.

· Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County, 3288 Main Street, Mexico.

· Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Sandy Creek United Methodist Church, 2031 Harwood Drive, Sandy Creek.
