‘Saving in a Tough Economy’ Fair to Present Money-Saving Ideas

In these tough economic times it is essential to find creative ways to save money in our day to day lives. Saving in a Tough Economy Fair, a free event sponsored by Fulton Alliance Church, will host local vendors and booths with hands-on practical ideas to promote money saving practices. There will be door prizes and refreshments.

The event takes place on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the Fulton Municipal Building.

Vendors include Habitat for Humanity, Ambit Energy, Empower Federal Credit Union, the Attorney General'[s Office, Adecco Employment Agency, Oswego County Opportunities, WIC, Success by 6, Fulton Community Development Agency-Weatherization, Angel Food Ministry, Public Service Commission, Pathfinder Bank, Catholic Charities, and Cancer Services Program of Oswego County

Participants will also find information booths on feeding families on a tight budget, inexpensive local entertainment options, make your own microwave popcorn, plus other money saving ideas.

Presentations on Identity Theft, Consumer Credit Scores, and a free Coupon Saving Seminar will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Lauren Greutman author of the www.iamthatlady.com and Frugal Living Expert will be the special guest presenter. Seats are limited for the coupon seminar.
