OSWEGO – Continuing the Oswego Public Library’s summer of Oswego photographs, Rocco Saya has taken his photos from the computer screen to the framed print world.
These breathtaking photographs highlight the wonders all around us here in Oswego! There will be an artist’s reception on September 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the library.
Saya will put on a presentation and give photography tips.
There will be some new, never before seen, prints on display too.

Saya is a computer scientist and a visual artist.
He currently specializes in software engineering and is a lead architect and trainer at Open Source Architecture.
Since 1996 he has traveled throughout North America with past clients having been NASA, DOD, NSA, FBI, JPL, IBM, Sun Microsystems and many other fortune 500 companies.
He started photography as a hobby in 2009.
He enjoys taking photographs of insects, wildlife and landscapes.
Recently, some of his insect photography was published in a book written by Dr. Mary Gardiner titled: “Good Garden Bugs:
Everything You Need to Know about Beneficial Predatory Insects.”
His exhibit currently at the Oswego Public Library, showcases his passion to illustrate how beautiful our environment in Oswego really is.
The works of art include sunsets, insects, wildlife and much more.
