School Board To Discuss Nuclear Power Facilities Tax Agreement

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego City School District Board of Education will meet on Nov. 22 at the Education Center.

The public portion of the meeting will reconvene at 7 p.m. as the “call to order” will be 6 p.m. However, the board will move immediately to executive session to discuss negotiations, litigation and personnel matters.

During the public portion of the meeting the board will recognize a trio of retiring employees as Patrick Osetek, Robin Emond and Mary Ann Murray will be leaving the district after decades of service. The board will also recognize the accomplishments of the varsity volleyball team which earned a spot in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association final four.

The board is facing a full regular meeting agenda which will include action on resolutions and discussion under the Superintendent’s Report as well as items from the board.

One resolution on the floor will ask for the scheduling of a public hearing in regards to the nuclear power facilities tax agreement.
