Schools Invited to Submit Best Artwork

Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I—Pulaski) invited local schools to select two outstanding works of art by students to submit to the 20th Annual Legislative Student Exhibit to be held in Albany in February. Every K-12 school in the state is encouraged to be represented. The exhibit is sponsored by the New York State Art Teachers Association in partnership with the NYS Alliance for Arts Education.

“I want to encourage schools to have their students represented in this exhibit. It’s an inspiration to see our local student works on display in Albany. The artwork reaffirms me of the talent that we have in our schools,” said Barclay.

The student artwork submission deadline is Dec. 16. All registration will be done online this year. This year’s theme is “Who We Are.” Details may be found at www.nysata.org.
