Fulton, NY– Allstate agency owner William Schorer was recently named an Agent Hero by Allstate Insurance Company’s New York Region, and awarded a $500 grant for a local youth program, which he donated to the Fulton YMCA. This was on top of the $500 earned during his Schorer Agency’s June-July promotion, in which they completed over 100 auto insurance quotes, donating $5.00 per quote to the YMCA. The $1000 donation total will be used to sponsor the YMCA Kids Summer Camp’s scholarship program, which teaches kids healthy living and fun activities, and encourages social responsibility and growth.
“As an Allstate agent, I believe it is my responsibility to demonstrate the Good Hands Promise in the Fulton community every single day,†said Schorer, whose office is located at 47 South 1st Street in Fulton. “It is an honor to be able to make this donation to the Y, and hopefully touch the lives of the youth who are involved. The Kids Summer Camp is a terrific program, relied on heavily by this community, and we felt that this was the best way to help give back.â€
