Scott Moroz

Scott H. Moroz, 44, of Fulton, died Wednesday at Community General Hospital, Syracuse after a brief illness. A native of North Tonawanda, he had resided in Fulton most of his life. Scott owned and operated Moroz Construction in Fulton for many years and was a certified mason. He loved golfing, fishing, baseball, basketball and cooking.

He was predeceased by his father, Peter Moroz, who died in 1997. Surviving are his wife, Lynn LeClair Moroz of Fulton; three children, Alyssa, Lauren and Peter Moroz all of Fulton; his mother, Lynn Moroz of Greensboro, NC; two brothers, Eric (Wendy) Moroz of NE and Gregory (Lori) Moroz of IL; two aunts, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Moroz College Fund, c/o Fulton Savings Bank, 75 South First St., Fulton, 13069 or to the American Cancer Society for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 6725 Lyons Street, P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, 13057.

    Lynn & Family,
    Words cant express our sadness over losing Scottie. He was a good friend and he & Danny shared many memories. Take comfort in knowing that Scottie will be remembered lovingly by so many. You are in our thoughts and our hearts are with you.

    I went to Oswego with Scott. I have thought about him and his family often over the years. I know I don’t have to tell you that he was a very special guy. I found out what happened through a mutual college friend and we are shocked. Know that Scott touched many lives and after all these years he is still thought of fondly.
