The project entailed a walkthrough with members of Friends of Great Bear and a forester from Oswego County Soil and Water Conservation District, identifying select areas in need of repair.

Once the areas were identified, it was discussed and determined how each section would be repaired.

Quantity, type of materials and tools needed were then determined.

A work crew was put together by Kyle, consisting of scouts, Friends of Great Bear and other volunteers.

Several days were taken to work on and do the repairs and improvements.

The project was made possible with donations from the town of Volney, Friends of Great Bear, other donors and the in kind

services from the city of Fulton.

There is another scout building a kiosk for placement at the entrance of GB. It should be done at the end of October for installation.
