Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava, Republican and Independence Party candidate for the 23rd Congressional District, today announced the National Rural Letter Carriers Association is endorsing her candidacy.
“I appreciate the endorsement of the National Rural Letter Carriers Association,” said Scozzafava. “Thousands of families in Central and Northern New York count on these committed, hard-working people to deliver for them every day. In Washington, I will work hard to deliver results for them and all residents of the 23rd Congressional District.”
Founded in 1903, the National Rural Letter Carriers Association has more than 400 rural carrier families in the 23rd Congressional District. The purpose of this association is to improve the methods used by rural letter carriers to benefit their conditions of labor with the United States Postal Service.
