Scriba Resident Facing Felony Drug Charges


OSWEGO, NY – At about 1:41 p.m. today July 15), the Oswego City Police Department’s Anti-Crime Team with assistance from the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement and United Sates Border Patrol executed a search warrant at 956 Middle Road, Lot 6W, in the town of Scriba.

The search warrant was issued by the Town of Scriba Court relative an ACT investigation into the alleged crack cocaine possession and sales being perpetrated at that location.

As a result of the search, 21 individual bags of crack cocaine, having an aggregate weight of approximately 24 grams, 5 bags of heroin and a small amount of marihuana was seized as well as $740 in U.S. currency, police said.

The following person was arrested and criminally charged:

Emmanuel A. Frederick, 55, of 956 Middle Road, Lot 6W – Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree – with intent to sell, Class B Felony – 2 counts and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree – more than ½ ounce of a narcotic drug, Class B Felony.

Frederick is currently being held at the Oswego City Police Department pending his arraignment in Scriba Town Court.
