Season Champions To Be Crowned This Saturday September 1 At Fulton Speedway

FULTON, NY – (By Dave Medler) – Mother Nature cooperated all season and the racing has been great. This Saturday, Sept. 1 it  all comes down to naming 2012 Track Champions on the final night of the points season.

After that the Fulton Speedway staff will be gearing up for the 27th Annual Sunoco Ethanol Facility Outlaw 200 Weekend Presented By SUNY Canton in less than a month on Sept. 28 and 29.

On the race card for season Championship Night this Saturday will be the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, SUNY Canton Sportsman, NAPA Late Models, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and Parts Plus Four Cylinder Stocks.

In the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, Billy Decker and Pat Ward are separated by 31 points heading into the Saturday night. Ryan Phelps is third in points 41 back with Tom Sears Jr. and Larry Wight fourth and fifth in the standings.

Jordan Bennett leads the way in the SUNY Canton Sportsman. In this highly competitive division you never know who might end up in victory lane as ten different drivers have taken top honors.

It’s down to a three-driver race to decide the Track Champion in the NAPA Late Models. Larry Wight has slim 6 point lead over Tim Sears Jr. with Rick Miller just 20 points behind Wight.

In the E&V Energy Novice Sportsman, Kyle Fink hold a 22-point lead over Gary Hoppins. Brandon Ford, Corey Barker and Bailey Groves are battling for top-five spots and bragging rights during the off season.

The Parts Plus Four Cylinder Stocks shows Skip DeGroff at the top of the standings followed by Mark Johnston, Eric M Zirbel, Matt Dawson and Keith Zirbel in the top-five.

If you don’t want to order online there is a printable order form that you can fill out and mail in. Tickets will also be available this Saturday September 1st during the racing activities.

Gates will open this Saturday at 5:00 with racing starting at 7:00. Adult admission will be $12 with everyone 18 years old and younger admitted FREE.
