FULTON, NY – New York State Senator Patty Ritchie helped celebrate the opening of New York State’s sweetest season with Kevin Enders, owner of the Red Schoolhouse Maple in Fulton as part of Maple Weekend.

The New York State Maple Producers Association invites families from across the Empire State and neighboring areas to learn all about the production of maple syrup and other related products by visiting area maple syrup producers.

As chair of the State Senate’s Agriculture Committee, Senator Ritchie has been a major advocate for maple producers and promotional programs for New York’s 36,000 family farmers.
