OSWEGO, NY – The New York State Department of Transportation will hold an open house meeting on September 19 regarding a resurfacing project on Route 104 in the city of Oswego.
The open house will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. in the training room at the Oswego Fire Department, located at 35 E. Cayuga St.
At the meeting, preliminary drawings for the upcoming project will be available for review.
Representatives from NYSDOT will be present to answer questions.
No formal presentation is planned.
Preliminary plans call for milling and resurfacing Route 104 from the western city line to the railroad bridge near East 13th Street.
In addition, minor drainage, sidewalk, traffic signal and safety improvements will take place at various locations within the project area.
Traffic will be maintained on-site during construction, with flaggers when necessary.
Access to driveways will be maintained at all times during construction.
Work is expected to take place during the 2017 construction season.
This open house is part of the continuing effort by the Department to encourage public participation in the development of transportation projects.
The Oswego Fire Department is handicapped accessible.
