OSWEGO, NY– On October 30, Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training and SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations will gather women from across New York State for Connections, a day-long conference to be held at The American Foundry in Oswego from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This day-long symposium is something you won’t want to miss.
Women employees and business owners need inspiration, ideas, information, and other women to network with.
The theme for this year’s event is “Overcoming Fear – Managing Risk, Maintaining Growth” and will feature several dynamic speakers, networking opportunities, lunch, a dessert reception, and a women’s marketplace.
New this year, professional headshots will be offered by Dayger Photography with no sitting fee.
Hair and make-up touch-ups will also be available.
“‘Connections offers an outstanding opportunity for women to learn from each other, generate new ideas, and build relationships with like-minded women,” said Evelyn LiVoti, Connections’ co-chair. “Each year, women from all over Central New York come together to be inspired and energized by dynamic speakers who, this year, will address how they have overcome fear and managed risk in order to maintain growth in both their personal and professional lives.”
Sponsors to date include Alliance Bank, SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations, SUNY Oswego’s Phoenix Center, Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training, Mitchell’s Speedway Press, Oswego County Business Magazine, Pathfinder Bank and Riverview Wellness.
Several levels of sponsorship opportunities are available.
