On 9/20/09 at 10:35 p.m., Brandon P. McConnell, 24, of 1431 Genesee St., Apt. 307A, Utica, NY, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Second Degree, a class A felony; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Seventh a class A misdemeanor; Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor; and Aggravated Unlicensed Operator, Second Degree (suspension for 15 scoffs on five dates), following the investigation into a disabled motor vehicle that was observed off the south side shoulder of SR 3 near Pollard Road in the Town of Hannibal with its flashers on. Mr. McConnell was reportedly found to possess a quantity of cocaine in excess of two ounces, a pill not prescribed to him, and a small pocket knife. Mr. McConnell was arraigned before the Hon. Luther Dennison, Town of Hannibal Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail. He is scheduled to reappear in court on 10/13/09.

A passenger in the McConnell vehicle, Carol L. Natarelli, 25, of the same address, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Second Degree, a class A felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Seventh Degree, a class A misdemeanor, after she was reportedly found to be in possession of cocaine in excess of two ounces, acid tablets, and capsules not prescribed to her. Ms. Natarelli was arraigned before the Hon. Luther Dennison, Town of Hannibal Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail. She is scheduled to return to court on 10/13/09.

On 9/21/09, Cheryl A. Lautensack, 50, of 161 West Fourth St., Oswego, NY, was operating a 2004 Infiniti eastbound on Dutch Ridge Road in the Town of Scriba at 11:26 a.m., when she reportedly failed to yield the right of way to and collided with a northbound 2007 Hyundai driven by Glenn R. Chrisman, 62, of 1 Furlong Drive, Lot 11, Fulton, NY. The incident reportedly occurred after Mr. Lautensack stopped at the stop sign on Dutch Ridge Road between the north and southbound lanes of traffic on SR 481, then continued eastbound, crossing the northbound lanes of traffic. Ms. Lautensack, Mr. Chrisman, and passenger in the Hyundai, Karen Bennett, 54, were all transported by ambulance to the Oswego Hospital. Ms. Lautensack was ticketed for Failure to Yield the Right of Way at a Stop Sign Intersection.

On 9/22/09 at 2:45 a.m., William J. Van Horn, Sr., 40, of 2081 CR 1, Lot 20, Oswego, NY, was arrested for Criminal Contempt, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, and Harassment, Second Degree, a violation, for violating an Order of Protection following the investigation into a domestic dispute that occurred at another Town of Scriba location. Mr. Van Horn was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Scriba Court on 10/01/09.
