Salina and Cicero, NY – The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office reports that sheriff’s detectives have charged an inmate at Oswego County Jail in connection with last month’s robbery of the Subway restaurant and Kwik Fill gas station.
Sheriff’s detectives, along with the assistance from the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, charged Daniel White, 49, of 175 N. Main St., Dolgeville, with Robbery in the 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree for both incidents.
White is accused of entering the Subway restaurant located at 127 Lawrence Road East on June 9 at approximately
3:40 p.m., wearing a mask and armed with a handgun.
After threatening the restaurant employee while demanding money, White fled the scene without obtaining any money or proceeds.
Later that evening, White committed an additional robbery at the Kwik Fill gas station located at 5919 East Taft Road.
White is accused of entering the gas station at approximately 10:30 p.m., armed with a handgun.
After threatening the store clerk while demanding money, White fled the scene with undisclosed amount of money.
White has been incarcerated in the Oswego County jail since June 10 for committing a similar robbery at the Mirabito Convenience store in Hastings.
He was arraigned this afternoon (July 2) in the Town of Geddes Court by Judge Mathews who set bail at $100,000 cash or bond.
