Sherwood A. Ingersoll

Sherwood A. Ingersoll, 87, of Fulton, died Sunday at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Fulton he was a life resident. Sherwood had been employed at Fulton City School District in the maintenance department. He had previously worked for the City of Fulton. He was a member of the First United Church of Fulton. Sherwood was a square dance caller and had enjoyed teaching square dancing. He was predeceased by his wife, Sarah L. Ingersoll who died October 10, 1994.

Surviving; a son, Gary (Sue) Ingersoll of Camillus; two grandchildren, Gary (Cassie) Ingersoll and Megan (Jon) Walters; a brother, Donald Ingersoll of Fulton; a niece and a nephew.

There are no calling hours or services. Private burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Mannsville. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has charge of arrangements.

    Please accept our sympathy at this time. I was unaware of his death until a friend sent it to me in East Texas. Stay close to family and take comfort in loving friends at this time.

    I worked with Mr Ingersoll in 1966 for the Fulton Lunch Program.
    Then located at Lanigan School.
    A nice man
    My Condolences to the Family.
