CANTON, NY – SUNY Canton recently recognized students who excelled academically during the Fall 2012 semester.
Jessica L. Shuba a SUNY Canton Law Enforcement Leadership major from Hastings, received Part-Time Honors. Shuba is a graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School.
“The college’s deans and I are very proud of these students,” said Interim SUNY Canton President Carli C. Schiffner. “They are demonstrating commitment to their education and it is my great pleasure to congratulate them on their success.”
To receive Part-Time Honors students must earn at least a 3.25 GPA on six to 11 credit hours.
SUNY Canton offers a variety of career-driven bachelor’s degrees in addition to its associate and certificate programs. In the past year, the college added two new bachelor’s degrees and expanded its facilities with a new athletic center, nicknamed Roos House, and the Grasse River Suites Residence Hall.
The college’s faculty members are noted for their professional real-world experience in addition to their academic credentials.
