Softball Fundraising Raffle Winners Announced

OSWEGO – Seven lucky winners were awarded prizes, just in time for Christmas, in the OHS softball parents’ second annual electronics raffle.

Dave Bradshaw was the winner of a Dell Inspiron touchscreen laptop computer;  Chris Watts took home the JXD Gyro Drone Quadcopter w/camera; Nick Bertsch was the recipient of a 32-inch flat-screen TV; the  Dr. Dre Beats Pill 2.0 wireless speaker went to Lisa Backus; Rita Tickle won the Fit Bit activity tracker that was donated by Pathfinder Bank; Kurt Pomerenki won a NextBook Ares 8 Android tablet, courtesy of Oswego Wal-Mart; a $100 gift card courtesy of Burke’s Home Center went to J. Cooper.

“The total value of these prizes was more than $1,000, and each of the seven winners was excited about their luck,” said OHS varsity softball parent Lisa Bradshaw.

Softball coach Mike McCrobie added, “The softball players and parent boosters are grateful for the support from the businesses who donated prizes, and we all appreciate the individuals who purchased tickets.”

The raffle was conducted by the softball parents with support from The Buccaneer Boosters.

Proceeds from the raffle will help support the Lady Buccaneers softball team.
