OSWEGO, NY – A workshop presentation from SolarizeCNY scheduled this evening (March 16) in Oswego has been canceled due to weather conditions.
SolarizeCNY Communities Project Coordinator, Katelyn Kriesel explained that installers from all over the state attend the presentation to speak with guests.
To avoid the hazardous road conditions throughout the state due to a recent storm that prompted Governor Cuomo to declare a state of emergency state wide, Kriesel said the workshop has been canceled.
The workshop intended to provide information regarding residential and community solar energy as well as the opportunity for guests to speak with installers and enroll in free solar assessments on their home or business.
The Oswego workshop will be rescheduled, though details of the intended date and time have not yet been determined.
Visit SolarizeCNY.org for more information regarding solar energy and check Oswego County Today for rescheduled workshop information as it becomes available.
