Sonia L. Nagel, 56


OSWEGO, NY – Sonia L. Nagel, 56, a resident of Fulton, NY, passed away Saturday December 13, 2014, at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late John and Carol (Coleman) Greeney.

She worked at St. Luke Health Services.

She was a volunteer firefighter for Oswego Town.

She was an EMT for Menter’s Ambulance.

She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, James Nagel Sr.; two daughters, Sonia Young (Jason Powell) of Oswego and Cassandra (Steve) Boyer of Oswego; three sons, James W. (Erica) Nagel Jr. of Oswego, Sean (Crystal) Nagel of Fulton and Christopher Nagel of Oswego; five sisters, Cheri Anderson, Pam Miner, Yvonne Susan Greeney, Lisa Syrell and Trudy Greeney; 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St. Oswego.

Spring burial will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Minetto.
