Members of the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Varsity Football Team ended their season on a high note, with a special surprise honor for their coach, Mike Libertone. The team worked with Henry Gloude, a local chainsaw artist and an employee of the APW District, to create a Vince Lombardi inspired trophy for their coach. Students added their names to the finished trophy and the near four-foot tall piece of art was presented to the coach at the end-of-the-season banquet in mid-November. Pictured are a few of the teammates with Coach Libertone and the trophy which can be found in his classroom at the APW Junior/Senior High School.
